CortiTron Through a Herbalist’s Eyes

CortiTron pairs traditional botanicals such as shilajit, maritime pine bark, marshmallow root and amla with hydrolysed collagen and vitamin C in one daily capsule. Here is where each plant comes from and what it is traditionally used for, followed by links to the CortiTron page for your country on cortitron.cc.

CortiTron bottle — natural antioxidant capsules with shilajit, collagen and pine bark

A Formula Rooted in Traditional Botanicals

Phytotherapy rarely relies on a single herb. Traditional systems such as Ayurveda and European herbalism combine plants whose effects complement each other, and CortiTron follows the same logic: a resin, a bark, a root, a fruit, a flower and a climbing herb share one capsule.

Two non-plant actives round it out. Hydrolysed collagen, here of fish origin, supplies the protein building blocks of connective tissue, and vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation. The result is a broad antioxidant profile that the seller adapts to different goals in each country.

Where the key plants come from

Shilajit is a dark, tar-like resin that seeps from rock layers in high mountain ranges, best known from the Himalayas. Ayurvedic practice has prized it for centuries, and it is naturally rich in fulvic acid and minerals.

French maritime pine bark comes from Pinus pinaster, the pine that forests the Atlantic coast of south-west France. Its bark is a concentrated source of procyanidins, a family of plant antioxidants.

Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) is full of mucilage, a slippery fibre that herbalists use to coat and calm mucous membranes. Amla, the Indian gooseberry, is one of the richest fruit sources of vitamin C.

Arnica is a yellow flower of European alpine meadows and a classic of traditional recovery care, while passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) is a climbing vine long used for calm and restful sleep.

A second, Latin American blend

The El Salvador capsule draws on a different herbal tradition: milk thistle and boldo, two liver herbs, with turmeric, ginger and black pepper. Piperine from black pepper is known for helping the body absorb curcumin from turmeric.

Herbal Questions About CortiTron

Which plants are in the European CortiTron capsule?

Shilajit resin, French maritime pine bark, marshmallow root, amla fruit, arnica flower and passionflower herb, together with hydrolysed fish collagen and vitamin C.

Is the El Salvador CortiTron made from the same herbs?

No. The Salvadoran version is a separate blend of milk thistle, turmeric, black pepper, boldo and ginger, so its country cards describe those plants.

Why combine black pepper with turmeric?

Black pepper contains piperine, which is widely known to help the body take up curcumin, the main active compound in turmeric. Pairing them is a long-standing practice in herbal formulas.

Is CortiTron entirely plant-based?

Not entirely. Most actives are botanical, but the European capsule also contains fish collagen and a gelatin shell, which matters if you avoid animal ingredients.

A note on safety: CortiTron is a food supplement, not a medicine, and does not replace medical treatment. Herbal extracts can interact with medicines, so check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take medication or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
